Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 29 September 2026
Scope of the policy and the products or services it covers
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of courses, resources and related services offered through papararzo. These include access to materials on public event coverage, camera positioning techniques, visual planning strategies, lighting setups and responsible content workflows for entertainment photography and event media. The policy governs transactions made by customers in the United Kingdom and covers both one-time course purchases and any bundled digital resources. It does not apply to free content or third-party products accessed through external links.
Prices, currencies, taxes, and any additional charges
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). Prices include applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current UK rate unless otherwise stated. No hidden fees apply to standard purchases. Customers are responsible for any currency conversion charges imposed by their payment provider when using non-GBP accounts. Additional charges may arise only if a customer selects optional extras such as extended access periods or supplementary materials, which are clearly itemised before checkout.
Accepted payment methods, payment authorisation, and payment security
papararzo accepts major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Payments are processed through secure third-party gateways that comply with PCI DSS standards. Authorisation occurs at the point of purchase and may involve additional verification steps such as 3D Secure. All transaction data is encrypted and papararzo does not store full card details. Customers receive an email confirmation once payment is successfully authorised.
Order, booking, or service confirmation and when a contract is formed
A binding contract is formed when a customer completes the checkout process and receives an order confirmation email from papararzo. This email contains details of the purchased course or resource, access instructions and a summary of the order. Until this confirmation is sent, no contract exists and the customer may cancel without penalty. Access to digital content is granted immediately upon successful payment in most cases.
Cancellation rights and applicable cancellation periods
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, customers in the United Kingdom have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase during which they may cancel for any reason. However, if the customer begins accessing digital course materials during this period, the right to cancel may be lost. Cancellations must be requested in writing via the contact form on the Contacts page or by emailing [email protected]. No cancellation fees apply within the cooling-off period provided access has not commenced.
Refund eligibility, exclusions, and non-refundable items or services
Refunds are available for unused digital courses within the 14-day period or where technical faults prevent access. Exclusions include cases where the customer has downloaded or streamed substantial portions of the content, promotional bundles, or services already delivered. Non-refundable items also cover any customised resources or live event coverage bookings once the event date has passed. papararzo reserves the right to refuse refunds where misuse or violation of terms is evident.
The step-by-step procedure and information required to request a refund
To request a refund, customers must first log into their account and note the order number. They should then submit a request through the contact form on the Contacts page, providing their full name, email address associated with the purchase, order number, date of purchase and a brief reason for the request. Alternatively, customers may email [email protected] with the same details. Requests must be made within the applicable time limits to be considered valid.
Inspection, approval, rejection, and notification of the refund decision
Upon receipt of a refund request, papararzo will inspect the account activity to confirm eligibility within five working days. Customers will be notified of the decision by email. If approved, processing begins immediately. If rejected, the email will explain the reason, such as prior content access or missed deadlines, and outline any options for appeal or partial credit.
Refund method, processing time, and when funds should reach the customer
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at purchase. Processing typically takes five to ten working days, though bank processing times may extend this to fourteen days in some cases. Customers will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated. No refunds are provided in cash or alternative methods unless the original payment method is unavailable.
Special rules for digital content, subscriptions, services, or promotional offers where relevant
Digital courses and resources are treated as digital content under UK law. Once access is granted and the customer has begun consumption, refunds are generally unavailable even within the cooling-off period. Subscriptions, if offered, may be cancelled at any time but refunds are limited to the unused portion of the current billing cycle. Promotional offers are subject to the same rules unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
Failed payments, duplicate charges, chargebacks, and suspected fraud
In the event of a failed payment, the order will not be processed and access will not be granted. Duplicate charges will be investigated and refunded automatically if confirmed. Customers who initiate chargebacks without first contacting papararzo may have their account suspended. Suspected fraudulent activity will be reported to relevant authorities and may result in permanent account termination without refund.
Mandatory consumer rights in the target country that the policy cannot exclude
This policy does not affect any statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or UK GDPR. Customers retain the right to goods and services of satisfactory quality and the ability to seek remedies for faulty digital content. Nothing in this policy excludes liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
